| Mt Calvary edges Chilton 12-10; wins ESL series 2-1 Mt Calvary used a 7 run 8th inning to come from behind to win game three and take the series. Chilton jumped out to a 4-0 lead behind a 3 run HR from Ryan Wettstein. Mt Calvary chipped backed to within 7-5 after seven innings. In the decisive 8th inning, Luke Birschbach hit a two run double to give Mt Calvary the 8-7 lead and scored four more runs to go to the ninth with a 12-7 lead. Chilton came back with three runs behind four hits, back to back doubles by Tim Roehrig and Luke Kolbe. Eric Weber, who came on in the 6th for Mt Calvary, then struck out Kyle Bancroft to end the game. Luke Petrie, Tony Birschbach, and Kyle Halbach lead Mt Calvary with three hits each. Jeremy Lisowe had three hits for Chilton in the losing cause. |

Aaron Leitner pitched eight strong innings and Kyle Bancroft had three hits in the win. Darren Woelfel and Brian Kolbe each collected two hits for Chilton. Leitner scattered 11 hits and struck out nine over eight innings to get the win. Chilton struck for three runs in the first inning, two on a Luke Kolbe base hit with two outs. Luke Birschbach tallied three hits for Mt Calvary with Taylor Schrage and Tony Birschbach chipping in with two hits each. Tony Birschbach took the loss, giving up 10 hits. The deciding game three is Sunday, September 6, 12:30PM at Mt Calvary. |

| Mt Calvary defeated Chilton 10-5 to take a 1-0 lead in the best of three series. Joe Birschbach hit a solo HR in the 1st inning, the first of his three hits to lead Mt Calvary. Tony Birschbach had two hits and drove in four runs, while pitching eight innings, striking out ten. Aaron Leitner struck out 11 and walked six, giving up eight hits and eight runs. Darron Woelfel had three hits to lead Chilton. Game two is next Sunday, August 30, at 12:30PM in Mt Calvary |
